Heinz-Kerry is a hypocrite
Speaking to the Pennsylvanian delegation at the statehouse in Boston,
Heinz Kerry delivered an impassioned plea against hate politics:
"We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and
sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our
politics."
"My prayers for you, for me, for the country, for the world, are that
we keep this at a high level, with dignity, with respect and with a
great idealism and courage that took our forefathers to build this
great nation."
According to multiple sources who attended the event, Heinz Kerry upon
finishing the speech pushed her way through the Secret Service to get
to Pittsburgh Tribune Review reporter, Colin McNickle. Upon getting to
Mcnickle, Heinz Kerry asked, 'Are you from the Tribune Review?'
Mcnickle said, 'Yes, I am.'
At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry said, 'Of
course, understandable. You said something I didn’t say. Now Shove
it!'
The tape of the incident is being edited to air on Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV
and, according to a media source, ABC NEWS is set to run with it
thereafter.
A witness of the incident said reporters were "stunned" by Heinz
Kerry's outburst, especially in light of the speech she had just
given.

MoveOn.org pushing lie
President Bush led America and the coalition forces into Iraq because
Saddam Hussein failed to comply with U.N. resolutions requiring him to
account for missing weapons of mass destruction; the fact that al
Qaeda terrorists were being harbored in Iraq; the fact that
negotiations took place between Iraq’s chemical weapons expert and bin
Laden in building the chemical plant in Sudan that Bill Clinton blew
up; the fact that Hussein was paying $10,000 and upped it to $20,000
to terrorist families who blew themselves up; besides other reasons
Hussein was not someone that could be trusted not to eventually teach
or hand over WMD to terrorists. Despite all these facts, MoveOn.org
continues to argue there is and was no connection or threat between al
Qaeda and Hussein/Iraq. Despite the fact that former Democrat
Congressman Lee Hamilton stated that there were connections between al
Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, but that they did not find evidence of
direct involvement in planning and executing the 9-11 attacks between
them.
The Commission ultimately concluded it had seen "no evidence" that the
contacts "ever developed into a collaborative operational
relationship." Nor was there evidence that "Iraq cooperated with al
Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United
States."
The key word in the final report's phrasing is "operational," which
was omitted from an earlier report by the September 11 commission's
staff that said the contacts had not developed into a "collaborative
relationship." MoveOn.org is using the rejected "collaborative” in its
memo to Bush bashing supporters.
Here is MoveOn.org’s latest move to discredit President Bush:
Dear MoveOn member,
Now we know the truth: the "Saddam-al Qaeda link" is a sham. President
Bush and Vice President Cheney's claim that Iraq and al Qaeda were
working together was one of their main rationales for the war. But now
the facts are clear:
"We have found no collaborative relationship between Iraq and the
terrorist network"
-9/11 Commission 6/04
Unfortunately, 40% of Americans believe the administration's
insistence on this story, and it's likely Bush and Cheney will
continue making this connection, against all evidence, unless we force
them to stop. Join us in demanding that President Bush and Vice
President Cheney STOP misleading the public about Iraq and al Qaeda by
signing our petition at:
http://www.moveonpac.org/alqaeda/
Even now, President Bush can't seem to admit the truth:
"The reason I keep insisting that there was a relationship between
Iraq and Saddam and al Qaeda is because there was a relationship
between Iraq and al Qaeda."
-President Bush in response to the Commission's findings
More than half a million Americans responded to our petition calling
on Congress to censure President Bush for misleading the country about
Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Now we know we have been misled
again about the reasons for war but Bush and Cheney just won't admit
it.
Nine hundred Americans have now been killed in Iraq and taxpayers have
paid tens of billions because George W. Bush misled us. He needs to be
held accountable and he needs to apologize for his lies. Bush and
Cheney have staked their reelection on these falsehoods. Join us in
demanding the truth from our leaders about the supposed Iraq-al Qaeda
connection at:

Hillary kicks off convention
The Hillary Clinton promotion machine has e-mailed everyone to inform
them to tune-in Monday night as Hillary helps kick-off the Democrat
National Convention:
Dear Friends,
The Democratic National Convention is almost here! Tune in on Monday
evening, July 26th, at 10 p.m. as Hillary kicks off the festivities
along with Former President Bill Clinton, Former President Jimmy
Carter, Former Vice President Al Gore, and others.
Hillary has been a strong supporter of the Kerry-Edwards ticket and is
eagerly awaiting the nomination in Boston of the next President and
Vice President of the United States.
"I'm looking forward to being at the convention and strongly
supporting John Kerry and John Edwards," she said. "After four years
of the Bush administration and their attempts to divide this country,
America is ready to have the strong, centrist and consistent
leadership that John Kerry and John Edwards will offer."
Don't miss Hillary introducing Bill Clinton at what is sure to be a
great convention. Check your local listings for details.
Sincerely,
Patti Solis Doyle
Executive Director
The Big Show starts
The Democrat Convention begins today amid unparalleled security,
protesters and sanitized speeches.
The Kerry campaign is editing speeches to take out Bush bashing. The
campaign recently suffered a set back thanks to their Hollywood
friends at a fund-raiser where individuals like Whoopi Goldberg
vulgarized Bush’s name resulting in a backlash.
The Kerry campaign may have some trouble making sure that there is no
Bush bashing, given the level of hatred exhibited by Democrats for
President Bush.
Even Kerry slipped into Bush bashing during a visit to Ohio, "When I
see people on the other side of the fence say, 'Four more years,' I
sometimes say to myself, 'Four more years of what?'" said Kerry.
"Four more years of jobs being lost?" Kerry asked rhetorically. "Four
more years of the deficit growing bigger and bigger? Four more years
of losing our allies around the world?"
The message to expect from the Convention is, "When we leave here
after four days of this convention everybody in America is going to
know about John Kerry, they're going to know about his service to our
country, and more important, they're going to know about his vision
for our country," Democrat National Chairman Terry McAuliffe said.
The service to the country is to highlight Kerry’s service in Vietnam.
However, don’t expect any pictures of him demonstrating against the
war with Jane Fonda or the notorious Vietnam Veterans Against the War.
Joe Wilson missing
Joe Wilson, a former U.S. ambassador seems to be missing. Wilson
received publicity for suggesting that President Bush had lied about
then-Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's attempt to buy uranium yellowcake
from Niger. It has since been exposed that Wilson is a serial
fabricator. Interestingly, the name of Wilson’s website,
www.RestoreHonesty.com, notwithstanding. Now when you visit Wilson's
website, all you get is an invitation to join the Kerry campaign or go
to the Kerry website. There is no sign of poor old Mr. Wilson.
Edwards’ rural appeal
North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, appearing on ABC's "This Week With
George Stephanopolous," was asked to explain to conservative, rural
voters his stance against limits on abortion, a constitutional ban on
flag-burning and support for certain gun controls.
"I don't think somebody should be able to walk out of prison,
convicted of a violent crime, walk across the street and buy a gun,"
the vice presidential hopeful said of his vote, along with Kerry's, in
favor of gun show sales restrictions.
"I don't think it's the role of government to decide what a woman will
do," Edwards said on the abortion issue, though he deviated from the
views of some Democrats by saying he believed the procedure should be
restricted late in pregnancy "except for a serious threat to the
physical health of the mother."
As for flag-burning, Edwards said, "I don't think we should be
tinkering with the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights
for the first time in the country's history."
